Responsibilities

Administrative oversight of all assigned staff
Oversight of hiring and staff schedules to provide adequate manpower in all areas of the department
Completes performance evaluations and performance management memo’s in a timely manner
Oversees capital and operating budgets, supplies, and equipment acquisition and maintenance
Develops and updates policies and procedures for the department
Liaison between Radiologists, Healthcare Providers, Administration and staff
Participate in hospital committees as requested

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) BS Degree or higher in Healthcare Administration or Radiological Sciences
Basic Cardiac Life Support & First Aid - American Heart Association within 60 Days
Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter - Iowa Department of Human Services within 180 Days

Preferred

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) In relatable Healthcare Field
1-3 years Previous experience in a leadership position
1-3 years Health care experience within the last five years
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (United States of America)
Child Abuse Iowa Mandatory Reporter - Iowa Department of Human Services within 180 Days
Nuclear Medicine Technologist American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (United States of America)
Permit to practice from the IHHA
Preference for an active and current license in one of the imaging disciplines directly managed, such as Radiology, MRI, CT, Ultrasound, or related fields
