Regional Business Development Manager (Texas)

Workwear Outfitters is a leading supplier of work apparel and footwear for diverse occupations. The Regional Business Development Manager will drive business growth by fostering relationships with end users and identifying key customer contacts for Corporate Managed Uniform Programs.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with end users to drive sales opportunities through enhanced brand awareness and product specification
Establish strategic business partnerships to expand the Image business model into new customer channels
Collaborate with Territory Sales and National Account Sales teams to connect end user opportunities with key distributors effectively
Work closely with internal departments such as marketing, merchandising, and customer service to ensure seamless execution of new sales initiatives
Conduct thorough research to identify pull-through and brand specification sales opportunities within the assigned sector
Determine product needs and sales channels, and collaborate with the sales force to maximize these opportunities
Serve as the industry expert for the assigned sector
Attend events and trade shows to gather market intelligence, identify trends, and present opportunities to marketing and merchandising teams for further analysis
Ensure internal teams are informed about market needs to align long-term strategies with future demands

Required

The ideal candidate will be local to the Dallas, Austin, or Houston market
Over 5 years of related professional experience, demonstrating a strong track record in relevant roles
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Proven experience in sales and business development within a B2B environment, showcasing the ability to drive business growth and achieve sales targets
Demonstrated experience in effectively utilizing CRM systems (such as Salesforce.com) and sales enablement platforms to support and enhance sales growth
Strong business modeling skills, with the ability to develop and analyze business models to support strategic decision-making
In-depth understanding of profit and loss statements, with the ability to manage and optimize financial performance
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in relevant software and tools
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively. Must be able to remain committed to decisions and deliver appropriate outcomes
Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
Must be able to influence others and possess strong negotiation skills to achieve desired outcomes
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time as required by the role

While sales experience is important, it is not a strict requirement for this role
