Responsibilities

Design, Develop, Support, and Maintain, the Electric Distribution System

Troubleshoot and find solutions for system issues

Applies basic engineering techniques for entry-level assignments with review and guidance from a higher level

Applies standard engineering methods and techniques to solve problems. Moderate guidance and direction provided. Work is normally reviewed from a high level

Applies a broad range of engineering skills and techniques, leads projects, and provides direction to lower-level engineers

Required

A Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline

Two years related work experience

Seven years of progressively responsible experience and understanding in the energy industry utility electric and gas operations, maintenance, design and project management

Ability to apply engineering principles to the development and design of the electric utility system

Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills

Must be able to effectively communicate, correspond and interact with staff/management and field personnel

Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access

Required to maintain a valid driver's license

Moderate travel requirements (25%)

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered
