Responsibilities
Complete technical reviews of drawings and specifications
Program CNC machines using Mastercam, with a focus on 4 and 5-axis CNC milling as well as CNC mill-turn lathes
Complete setup and first articles for each operation
Operate machines during times of lower programming demand
Review and adhere to job schedules and milestones
Work with engineering, inspection, and assembly teams to ensure product quality meets specifications
Ensure machined components meet their cycle time and cost estimates
Complete root cause and corrective action reports as required to address issues
Provide strong leadership and training to team members
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in CNC Programming and Machining
Experience programming 4 and 5-axis CNC mills and CNC mill-turn lathes using Mastercam
Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications
Ability to interpret and review 3D models using SolidWorks and 2D drawings using AutoCad
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Dedicated to meeting internal and customer schedule commitments
Preferred
Familiarity with Epicor ERP a plus
