FTS Inc is seeking an experienced IT PMO Project Manager to lead critical projects within their organization. The ideal candidate will drive project execution, manage complex projects, and ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards while engaging effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Drive project execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met
Take ownership of resolving project issues and proactively escalate to ensure timely resolutions
Provide leadership and accountability for project outcomes
Develop comprehensive project plans, detailing milestones, resources, and timelines
Maintain and manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs to track and address obstacles
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with business goals
Facilitate effective communication with stakeholders, including regular status updates and reports
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities
Act as the primary point of contact for project communications and manage stakeholder expectations
Engage leadership and key decision-makers as needed to ensure project success
Ensure adherence to Corning’s quality and compliance standards throughout the project lifecycle
Monitor project deliverables to confirm they meet regulatory and company-specific requirements
Identify project risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies
Escalate issues to appropriate levels of management when necessary, while keeping stakeholders informed of progress

Required

7+ years of project management experience, preferably within IT or PMO environments
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of complex projects, solve problems, and deliver results
Bachelor's Degree required
PMP certification required (details must be listed on resume)
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required — certification & active dates must be on resume to be considered
Agile or Scrum training/certification strongly desired
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong ability to manage project plans, RAID logs, and cross-functional collaboration
Proven problem-solving abilities with effective escalation and issue resolution
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and compliance

Preferred

Experience delivering Financial Application solutions, with deep familiarity in systems such as SAP & PeopleSoft
Strong experience partnering with Finance stakeholders to gather and manage requirements
Ability to draft and manage requirements for SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance
Experience ensuring financial systems/processes align with SOX documentation and audit standards
Ability to manage and oversee test cycles for financial applications, ensuring quality and compliance
Produce daily testing updates and detailed analysis on defects (root cause, aging, priority)
Experience performing after-hours cutovers for financial applications to minimize downtime
Ability to coordinate smoothly with stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions
Proven experience working in Agile environments
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks is highly desired
