Responsibilities
Must provide installation/deinstallation, patching, system administration, password changes, technical and lifecycle support for Ports and Waterways Safety Systems (PAWSS), Radar Data Processors (RDPs), Interface Adapters Units (IAUs), All-in-One Trainers, operator workstations and servers, Red Box, System Trackers, PC-Based Radar Processor (PCRP), Integrated Network Video System (INVS), Automatic Identification System (AIS), and VHF Communication Radio System (VCS)
Must implement system troubleshooting, including hardware, firmware, and software issues, preventative and corrective maintenance, customer support, field installation and updates, training support and Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) measures across all VTS systems
Must provide services in the form of documentation, system problem resolution, and extensive testing for new software releases before deploying the software in operational environments
Provide system support services that meet the service level objectives outlined below. Service level objectives include installation of hardware and/or software, firmware, site support and maintenance, hardware, firmware, and software support, monitoring system applications for unusual or abnormal behavior, and support and resolve problems
Schedule with each VTC’s Electronics Material Officer and apply PAWSS patches every month, subject to Software Change Notice (SCN) approvals, to VTS system devices as listed in Attachment 3 - List of VTS Devices
Must schedule with each VTC’s Electronics Material Officer and apply INVS patching to every (INVS) workstations every month, subject to SCN approvals
Once the Contractor receives the SCN approval, the Contractor must promptly schedule and apply patching to the affected INVS workstations
Must carry out installations and deinstallations of hardware, firmware, and software upgrades, as directed by the COR for VTS systems
For each equipment install and/or removal, the Contractor must update and redline the site drawings within five (5) business days after completion and submit through CGFIXIT
Provide prompt system administration technical support for VTS hardware, firmware, and software systems, including troubleshooting and A list of affected system components can be found in Attachment 3- List of VTS Devices
Provide system administration technical support to VTS systems 24/7
Provide the COR with a Single Point of Contact (POC) for System Casualty
The COR or Alternate Contracting Officer's Representative (ACOR) will contact the Contractor for after-hours The Contractor's on-call maintenance support will be prioritized based on the severity of the identified problem, as outlined below. Any deviation from these timelines requires prior approval from the COR/ACOR, and an alternate timeline must be agreed upon. For all other Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities, including Preventive Maintenance Checks (PMCs) and other routine maintenance, the COR/ACOR will contact the Contractor via email and submit a CGFIXIT trouble ticket for resolution
May perform other duties as needed

Demonstrable understanding of planning, scheduling, and mission management technologies
Must be knowledgeable with the current equipment hardware totals: Operations of PAWSS (or equivalent navigational software), System administration, Automatic Identification System (AIS), Maritime Shore based RADAR (with preferred experience in TERMA and Furuno), PC-Based Radar Processor (PCRP), Camera systems (with preferred experience in INVS workstations), VHF Communications (with preferred experience in VCS workstations), Microwave systems, PAWSS IAUs 26, RDP 60, All-in-one-trainers 12, Operator workstations and servers 70, Server 2012 r2 12, Server 2019 02 Physical plus 03 virtual, Red Box 17 (12 installed, 05 spares), System trackers 24, PCRP 19, INVS Workstations 52, AIS 64, VCS Workstations 33
Excellent communication and time management skills
Experienced with the Microsoft Office Suite products Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
High School Diploma, GED, or related experience
IAT Level II qualified
CG PUMP qualified
Five (5) years' experience developing, installing, loading, configuring, networking, optimizing, testing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and integrating the following types of devices or similar: Radar: Terma 4KW single/dual and 25KW single/dual radar systems, Furuno 25KW single/dual radar systems, VHF Communications: Zetron VHF controller and Redbox Digital VHF communications recorder
