Responsibilities
Build and lead the global Drug Safety organization
Oversee all aspects of pharmacovigilance, including safety strategy, case processing, signal detection, and risk management
Provide medical review and benefit–risk assessments across the product lifecycle
Serve as the company’s safety expert in interactions with regulatory authorities
Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Regulatory, Quality, and Commercial teams
Ensure full compliance with global safety regulations and internal SOPs
Qualification
Required
Proven track record in global pharmacovigilance leadership roles across both development and post-marketing
Minimum 2+ years in an executive-level role (Exec Director, VP, SVP/Head of DSPV)
People management experience required, including building and developing high-performing teams
Experience working within a small sponsor biotech environment required
Deep understanding of medical safety and PV operations
Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, hands-on biotech environment
Preferred
Experience leading safety strategy in rare disease, neurology, or endocrine therapeutic areas is a plus
