Responsibilities
Design and analyze structural systems for diverse projects - from residential renovations to small commercial builds, working on short timelines in a fast-paced environment
Spend 20-40% of your time in the field conducting structural inspections, foundation assessments, and forensic evaluations
Collaborate & communicate directly with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver innovative solutions that meet tight deadlines
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents while ensuring compliance with building codes
Qualification
Required
Self-starter looking to grow with a small, ambitious engineering firm with advancement opportunities
Someone that isn't afraid to get their hands (or shoes) dirty and get the job done
Strong communicator who can discuss complex issues with diverse stakeholders and deliver both good and challenging news professionally
Bachelor's degree in engineering with 1-2 years of structural engineering experience
Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification required
Technical proficiency with Mathcad, Bluebeam, and Autodesk products (Revit/AutoCAD)
Preferred
Design experience and residential structural experience preferred, but not required
