Responsibilities

Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end

Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects

Regularly handle court appearances and depositions

Communicate with clients and provide status reports

Qualification

JD from accredited law schoolAdmitted to practice in NJNY4+ years insurance defense litigationExperience in commercial litigationMotion practiceTrialTrial preparation experienceDemonstrated success in billable-hoursSuperior written communication skillsSuperior oral communication skills

Required

JD from an accredited law school

Admitted to practice and experience in New Jersey and New York state and federal courts

4+ years of experience with insurance defense litigation including premises liability, professional liability, products liability

Superior written and oral communication skills

Demonstrated success in maintaining billable-hours goals

Preferred

Experience in commercial litigation and insurance coverage is a plus

Experience with motion practice, report writing, discovery and depositions preferred

Trial and trial preparation experience is a plus
