Responsibilities

Train, test, deploy, and maintain models that learn from data
Lead the direction of mission-critical solutions by applying best-fit ML algorithms and introducing leading-edge technologies
Share knowledge with a large community of machine learning engineers across the company
Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and AI engineers to deliver world-class solutions
Guide clients as they navigate the landscape of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks
Solve real-world challenges and define ML strategy for the Department of Defense

Qualification

Required

5+ years of experience in data science or machine learning, including developing and deploying machine learning models
Experience working on large-scale data projects and handling big data technologies and platforms such as Hadoop or Spark
Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, and Java or Scala for data manipulation and model building
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for deploying ML solutions
Knowledge of data engineering concepts, including data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Statistics

Preferred

Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies such as Kafka
Experience with U.S. government and Department of Defense applications of ML
Knowledge of agentic AI and advances in AI ethics
Ability to mentor and lead junior data scientists and engineers, providing guidance and knowledge transfer
Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences, ensuring business alignment
TS/SCI clearance
Master's degree in a related field
