Responsibilities
Lead cloud architecture modernization by driving containerization, service migration, infrastructure-as-code, automated provisioning, and event-driven design
Develop and enforce infrastructure standards including guardrails, reference architectures, and operational guidelines for product teams
Scale secure CI/CD pipelines and embed DevSecOps practices such as automated security testing, dependency scanning, and secrets management
Build and evolve the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) to streamline developer workflows, improve productivity, and provide reusable components for product and data teams
Drive reliability and observability through SRE practices, actionable monitoring, SLOs, error budgets, and improved on-call and release-readiness processes
Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing Cloud & Platform Engineering team, fostering technical excellence, coaching, career growth, and strong cross-functional partnerships
Qualification
Required
8+ years of progressive engineering experience, including 3+ years leading cloud, platform, DevOps, or SRE teams
Deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline automation, Git-based workflows, and security automation
Designed and operated highly available, scalable, secure systems and understand modern cloud-native patterns
Preferred
Led platform modernization efforts in a product-driven organization
Enjoy balancing strategic leadership with hands-on technical work
Experience in regulated environments
Ownership of cloud migrations
Background in SRE/operations
Familiarity with microservices, API gateways, service mesh, and distributed systems
