Physical Asset Tracking Coordinator

The Physical Asset Tracking Coordinator will oversee the tracking of physical assets, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and assist in maintaining accurate asset records and location maps across domestic sites.

Responsibilities

Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
Tag and log physical assets in the ERP system. Updates logs and documentation for historical records
Work with each departments inventory coordinator and facilitate biannual physical inventory reviews
Update the fixed asset location maps across the ministrys domestic locations and process asset transfers and disposals through Workflow
Act as departmental Inventory Contact for the Purchasing Departments physical inventory
Research data from historical records to support the needs of other departments
Execute ad hoc inventory projects as needed
Perform physical inventories as needed
Follow policies and procedures of Samaritans Purse as set forth in the Policy Manual
All other duties as assigned

Required

Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to compose concise e-mails with the intent of sharing operational information with departments during their physical inventories
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Fluency in English (required)
