InternAlbany International Corp. is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to assist on-site Electrical Technicians. The intern will learn to troubleshoot modern PLCs and participate in projects aimed at improving safety and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
Assist on site Electrical Technicians to learn/troubleshoot modern PLC’s such as Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron, Modicon
Assist in troubleshooting Servo Motors and Motion controls
Upgrade the Webscanners from Thermofisher to Bianco
Learn and understand the different control systems for various types of equipment
Assist with the integration/programming of Safety light curtains/devices on three pieces of key equipment to improve overall safety during operation
Qualification
Required
Actively enrolled in a Electrical Engineer college program
Strong work ethic
Takes Initiative
Will follow all safety policies and procedures while always demonstrating safe behavior
Demonstrates strong technical skills
Willing to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude
