Credit Underwriter

Brunswick is a global marine leader committed to innovation and next-generation technologies. The Credit Underwriter will be responsible for assessing creditworthiness, managing risk for new and existing accounts, and liaising with customers to establish credit limits.

Responsibilities

Liaise with prospective and existing customers to establish credit worthiness
Collate information from various sources including credit analysts, credit bureaus, sales personnel and third parties to understanding the risk profile of a new or existing customer
Execute decisions to extend credit based on the companies delegation of authority
Onboarding new customers and establishing credit limits in line with customer need and creditworthiness
Periodically review existing accounts and make recommendations for changes to established credit lines (if needed)
Maintenance of files and ensure that timely follow up of necessary information is achieved
Customer Master maintenance
Other duties as required

Financial AnalysisExcel SkillsNumerical SkillsERP Systems KnowledgeCustomer Liaison

Required

Solid Numerical/Math Skills
Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills

Preferred

Associate Degree
Knowledge of and experience with different ERP systems
