Responsibilities

Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing agreements, optimizing value for The Budd Group
Build and nurture collaborative relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams to drive mutual success
Develop and execute innovative procurement strategies to identify and capture substantial cost-saving opportunities
Effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet deadlines in our fast-paced environment
Champion adaptability, drive continuous improvement, and foster innovation within our procurement processes
Monitor procurement spend, track key performance metrics, and ensure strict compliance with all recommended changes and standards
Drive cost savings, operational efficiencies, and strategic objectives through best-in-class procurement practices

Required

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field is required
5+ years of demonstrated experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or supply chain management, with a preference for experience in facility services
Proven experience working with service agreements, labor staffing, and effectively managing suppliers to elevate performance standards
A strong background in analyzing purchasing data, pinpointing cost-saving opportunities, and successfully implementing procurement strategies
Exceptional business acumen coupled with strong negotiation capabilities
In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, and contract management principles
Familiarity with industry trends, pricing dynamics, and relevant regulatory requirements
A solid understanding of purchasing policies, procedures, and compliance standards
Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
The ability to adapt to evolving business needs, drive continuous improvement, and foster innovation in procurement
A proactive, results-driven mindset with a commitment to excellence, professionalism, and continuous learning

Preferred

An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is highly desirable
