Creditors' Rights Associate Attorney
Brock & Scott, PLLC is seeking a driven, self-motivated Associate Attorney to manage eviction matters and support the overall operations of the Texas office. The role involves supervising staff, overseeing daily office functions, and contributing to client development initiatives.
Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and approve all eviction-related pleadings
Manage all facets of eviction cases, including contested matters
Participate in mediations, depositions, telephonic hearings, and in-person hearings
Conduct regular client meetings and provide timely case updates
Support additional duties and special projects as assigned
Foreclosure experience is a plus
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctorate (JD)
Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience
Proven ability to manage and prioritize a high-volume caseload
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional client interaction via systems, email, and phone
Commitment to delivering exceptional client service
Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and independently
Highly conscientious with outstanding time management, punctuality, and follow-through
Detail-oriented and analytical, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
Preferred
Foreclosure experience is a plus
