Responsibilities
Manage and execute Audit Committee approved financial, operational, and compliance internal audit projects
Lead unplanned management requests and special projects such as investigations and process improvement evaluations
Assess AutoZone’s Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance program
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with AutoZone leadership across the organization
Communicate proficiently with leadership across AutoZone at all levels to facilitate risk mitigation initiatives and develop robust control measures
Qualification
Required
Manage and execute Audit Committee approved financial, operational, and compliance internal audit projects
Lead unplanned management requests and special projects such as investigations and process improvement evaluations
Lead the assessment of AutoZone's Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance program
Partner closely with Finance, IT, Business Operations, and External Auditors
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with AutoZone leadership across the organization
Solid oral and written communication skills
Communicate proficiently with leadership across AutoZone at all levels
Facilitate risk mitigation initiatives
Develop robust control measures
Remain informed of operational developments and emerging risks
Work with business management on key Company initiatives
