Responsibilities
Own and manage the product backlog for Mastercam’s cloud platform and connected services, including APIs, telemetry, and synchronization features
Define user stories and acceptance criteria for cloud-native capabilities such as collaboration, data sync, and connected toolpath computation
Partner with software architects and engineering managers to ensure scalability, performance, and security of new cloud modules
Ensure backlog priorities reflect the transformation roadmap set by the Product Manager
Define and prioritize AI-powered use cases, including intelligent assistants, copilots, predictive machining, and automation insights
Collaborate with engineering to operationalize LLMs and generative AI features on secure, scalable cloud platforms
Ensure model feedback, telemetry, and user interaction data are leveraged for continuous improvement
Work with UX teams to design intuitive, context-aware AI interactions that elevate user experience
Translate strategic goals from leadership and stakeholders into clear, actionable roadmaps for development teams
Act as the bridge between product development and design, ensuring clarity, alignment, and delivery against timelines
Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to ensure cloud/AI release readiness
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release reviews to ensure feature readiness and quality
Collaborate with Product Marketing and UX to ensure cohesive customer experiences as desktop and cloud modules converge
Define and track KPIs for backlog velocity, cloud adoption, and AI feature engagement
Gather feedback from internal teams, customers, and beta users to refine requirements and improve outcomes
Maintain a strong focus on business value delivery, ensuring every cloud or AI feature contributes to user productivity and long-term scalability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent professional experience required
5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in software or platform development
General understanding of cloud architectures (Azure/AWS), APIs, and modern SaaS principles
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, particularly LLM integration and AI service deployment
Demonstrated success translating high-level strategy into detailed product requirements and technical deliverables
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with distributed engineering teams
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Certified Scrum Product Owner
Background in manufacturing software, CAD/CAM, or industrial automation
Understanding of telemetry, analytics pipelines, and cloud-to-desktop synchronization
Familiarity with PLM systems and hybrid deployment models for consistency with transformation objectives
