Associate Manager, Lease Accounting

The Associate Manager, Lease Accounting will ensure accurate lease and fixed asset accounting, drive compliance with ASC 842 and ASC 360, and support continuous improvement initiatives to maintain financial integrity and enable strategic decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

Prepare and/or review journal entries for accuracy and timeliness during close
Prepare and/or review account reconciliations and roll forwards for accuracy and quality
Perform or review key internal controls
Prepare quarterly deliverables related to balance sheet and P&L analysis
Assist with implementation of new accounting standards as needed
Support internal and external audits through coordination of requests and follow-up actions
Partner with the business on continuous improvement efforts, automation, projects, and system implementations
Identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities within the department
Collaborate with Corporate Controllers, Division Finance teams, and functional counterparts for ad hoc reporting and analysis
Draft and/or edit end-to-end process flows or desktop procedures
Own administrative duties related to general ledger master data maintenance and user access approvals

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
4+ years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC requirements
Extensive experience with ASC 842 and ASC 360
Demonstrated leadership skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly motivated and proactive problem-solving ability
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail

Preferred

CPA certification
Relevant industry experience
