Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor (Tenure Track/In Residence - 50/50) in Neuromuscular Research
The University of California, Irvine is seeking a full-time faculty member to join the Department of Neurology at the School of Medicine. The successful candidate will conduct innovative research in neuromuscular diseases, secure extramural funding, and engage in the education of graduate and medical students.

Responsibilities
Mount a productive and innovative research program
Obtain extramural funding
Actively participate in graduate student, medical student, and resident education
Leverage existing resources and strengths of UCI Health and its campus partners
Demonstrate a genuine commitment to service activities within the local, national, and international community
Qualification
Required
Candidates must hold a M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree(s)
Preferred
A clinical presence in our robust neuromuscular disorders clinical services will be considered an advantage but is not required
