Account Director, Games

Lionbridge Games is seeking an Account Director to drive revenue growth and manage key gaming accounts. This role involves building long-lasting client relationships, executing account strategies, and identifying opportunities for service expansion within the gaming industry.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute account strategies to achieve revenue and margin goals
Gain a deep understanding of client business goals, competitive landscape, growth plans, and challenges
Identify opportunities to expand relationships with existing clients through upselling and cross-selling new studios, buyers, and service lines
Build and maintain long-term relationships with strategic accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Manage contract renewals, negotiate pricing, and resolve complex client challenges with a solutions-oriented approach
Develop trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders and executive sponsors
Conduct executive-level business reviews and capability refreshes with key stakeholders to uncover new opportunities
Collaborate with the global sales team to identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory
Reinforce our reputation as a Global Games Leader by demonstrating expertise in Lionbridge Games’ services and solutions—including QA and game testing
Represent Lionbridge Games at industry events and maintain a strong presence in the gaming community
Willingness to travel up to 25% for client meetings, conferences, and networking events

Required

Proven experience in account management, business development, or sales within the Video Games/Entertainment industry—or a background in QA/game testing paired with a strong interest or foundational experience in sales
Ability to develop and implement account strategies that drive growth and expand market share
Strong background in upselling, cross-selling, contract renewals, and pricing negotiations
Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs
Understanding of gaming industry trends, market dynamics, and service offerings such as QA, localization, audio, testing, and player experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and product teams
A proactive, goal-oriented mindset with a strong focus on achieving revenue and margin targets
