4+ years expTurck USA is a leader in automation technologies, seeking an Application Engineer III to serve as a technical advisor for customers and internal teams. In this role, you will provide expert support, design solutions, conduct feasibility tests, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating on cross-functional projects.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support via phone, email, and other channels
Design solutions that meet customer needs and solve real-world problems
Recommend Turck equivalents for competitor products and identifying alternatives for unavailable items
Conduct feasibility tests and validate proposed solutions
Support commissioning and troubleshooting efforts with detailed documentation and technical resources
Deliver training for internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate on cross-functional projects and contribute to official product documentation
Identify sales opportunities and submit leads through our Apps SPEAKS program
Mentor junior engineers and represent the department in divisional meetings (AE IV)
Qualification
Required
Electromechanical experience, including working with sensors, controls, and automation systems
Experience in technical writing and customer support
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to handle complex technical cases and mentor others
Leadership experience and deep product knowledge
For AE III: 4-year technical degree with 4+ years of experience, or 2-year technical degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
For AE IV: 4-year technical degree with 7+ years of experience, or 2-year technical degree with 10+ years of relevant experience
Preferred
Strong electrical aptitude and understanding of circuitry
Hands-on field support experience, troubleshooting in real-world environments
