Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of domestic and family law cases, including client consultations, pleadings, discovery, negotiations, and litigation
Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
Draft motions, petitions, agreements, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail
Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior associates and support staff
Contribute to firm growth through client relationship management and participation in community or professional outreach
Maintain compliance with ethical standards and firm policies
Can thrive in a faith-driven environment with a desire to contribute to a team that integrates faith and law in practical ways

Qualification

Family law experienceVA Bar LicenseLegal writing skillsJury trial experienceJudicial clerkship experience

Required

3+ years of experience as a family law Attorney
VA Bar License
Legal writing, analysis, and drafting skills
Ability and willingness to travel to different courts in Northern Virginia

Preferred

5+ years of experience as a family law Attorney
Jury trial and court experience
Prior judicial clerkship experience
