Federal Work Study - Research & Assessment Program Graduate Student Assistant
The University of Florida is seeking a Graduate Student to assist with the activities of the Counseling & Wellness Center’s Research & Assessment Program. The role involves supporting research projects related to mental health and client satisfaction, as well as assisting with data collection and analysis.

Responsibilities
Assist UF CWC and the UF CWC Research & Assessment (R&A) Program with duties including, but not limited to:
Assisting with scheduling and coordinating R&A Program services
Assisting with planning, development, and facilitation of R&A Program presentations, workshops, and seminars (both in-person and online) for UF students, faculty, and staff
Assisting with planning, development, and facilitation of research studies and scholarly articles
Assisting with data collection and communications related to R&A
Attending weekly meeting(s) with CWC R&A team
Other similar duties as directed by supervisor
Qualification
Required
Able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week
Able to work in hybrid work environment (in-office/remote duties); requires access to personal computer and internet
Anticipated graduation date of Spring 2027 or later
Preferred
Graduate student in psychology, counselor education, another mental health-related field, statistics, or data science
Prior experience in health field and related sensitively for health information privacy and confidentiality
Familiarity with regulations surrounding research participant recruitment, including human-subject protection and Institutional Review Boards
Proficiency with survey tools such as Qualtrics
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and data analysis software (Excel, SPSS, R)
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Positive, friendly, and professional attitude
Reliable, good follow-through
