Instrument/Electrical Engineer
INEOS Pigments USA is one of the largest producers of titanium dioxide in North America, providing products and services to various industries globally. The Instrument/Electrical Engineer will provide engineering support, troubleshoot and implement solutions for safe manufacturing, and manage projects related to instrumentation and electrical systems.

Responsibilities
Design/specify, procure and support installation of all instrumentation and electrical equipment and systems including components that are both analog and discrete, electronic and pneumatic, hydraulic or mechanical
Creating/updating documentation (computerized databases, overseeing CAD drawing activities)
Control and safety-relief valves -- design requirements and maintenance assistance
Power distribution (< 69KV), switching, grounding and usage (including VFD and motors)
Interface and communicate non-routine activities between operations and I/E technicians
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience
Minimum of a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 to 7 years of related experience in power electrical and process instrumentation and control
Experience with the technical design and support of petro-chemical or batch operations is required
Basic knowledge of distributed control systems and programmable logic controllers is required
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills are essential to perform and communicate the day-to-day support, troubleshooting conclusions and status of projects
Preferred
Prior experience in Refining/Chemical/Petro-chemicals/Lifesciences industries is a plus
The preferred candidate will have held a similar position that interfaced with operators, technicians, staff engineers, engineering contractors, vendor field engineers and sales representatives
