Investment Service Specialist - Trading (Remote)
Wealth Enhancement is an independent wealth management firm dedicated to enriching the lives of clients through personalized financial planning. The Trading Services Specialist will ensure accurate trade execution and reconciliation, resolve trade discrepancies, and drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and maintain compliance.
Responsibilities
Work closely with advisor teams, serving as a resource for trade workflows and operational guidance
Review trade activity to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with firm and regulatory standards
Communicate resolutions promptly to advisors and stakeholders to maintain confidence in trading processes
Assist with inquiries related to trade execution and provide recommendations for best practices
Partner with custodians, trading platforms, and internal teams to reconcile executed trades accurately
Prepare and maintain reconciliation reports for management review and compliance purposes
Ensure proper integration and data integrity across systems to support operational accuracy
Support ad hoc requests and reporting needs related to trading operations
Identify opportunities to streamline trade workflows and reduce operational risk
Collaborate with technology and operations teams on initiatives that enhance scalability and efficiency
Contribute to strategic projects aimed at improving trading processes and error prevention
Seek creative solutions to minimize administrative burden and improve advisor experience
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in business, finance or economics, or related
3 years of experience in Financial Services with a focus on investment operations
Knowledge of financial markets and investment operations
Proven written and verbal (presentation) communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with people at all levels of the organization and clients
Ability to create quality written presentations and articles for Advisor and client consumption
Ability to organize and prioritize workflow and projects
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Familiarity with Salesforce and Support Org functionality
