Outside Sales Representative - Northeast Region

Mongoose Jetters, a division of Sewer Equipment, provides innovative sewer cleaning products for the contractor market. They are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to service existing customers, establish new ones, and manage a geographic territory in the Northeast region.

Responsibilities

Service existing customers, obtain orders and establish new customers by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade contacts
Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential customer markets
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks

Required

Service existing customers, obtain orders and establish new customers by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade contacts

Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques

Efficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) and VPN
Efficient with Windows based ERP programs (brand specific not required)
Excellent written and verbal communication
Bachelor's or Associate degree in business or related field
5 or more years' experience in a related position
Full-time outside sales role
This role covers a six-state territory in the Northeast with a preferred home base in the Philadelphia area
Travel requirements vary depending on business needs, but candidates should expect to travel approximately 50% to 75% of the time
