Responsibilities

Serve as a technical leader for development projects

Lead and manage of team of hardware and electrical engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support thought the product development lifecycle

Manages application support initiatives such as hardware compatibility and custom product requests

Define project goals, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with company and customer requirements

Responsible for project schedules, and documentation of work and results including KPI’s

Drive the hardware development process, including concept development, schematic design, PCB layout, prototyping and testing

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as software engineering, manufacturing, and product management to ensure seamless integration and successful product launches

Set clear expectations, assign tasks, and prioritize workloads to optimize team productivity and efficiency

Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and high-quality standards within the hardware engineering team

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related field

Minimum five years' experience as an Engineering Manager

Experience with project management and working with software teams cross functionally

Familiarity with hardware design principals, including digital and analog circuitry, schematic capture, PCB layout, and design form manufacturing (DFM), along with typical design input quality tools (e.g. QFD, Design FMEA, DFA/m, VA/VE)

Familiarity with hardware design and analysis tools, such as SolidWorks, Altium or similar

Familiarity with product certification processes and standards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., UL, CE)
