Responsibilities
Shadow and work with adjusters to perform administrative duties including issuing payments and completing administrative tasks
Participate in special projects such as continuous improvement strategies
Connect with insureds and medical providers to gather information on claims
Support Claims professionals with large account management
Assist in automating the department’s weekly scorecard, keeping track of our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), helping to track results and report them out to various teams
Analyze data used to enhance our customer experience
Qualification
Required
Must be a current college student to qualify
Demonstrate an interest in learning about the insurance industry
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
High School Diploma required
Ideal internship candidates will be full-time undergraduate college Juniors or Seniors, with the ability to perform at a professional level
