Responsibilities

Learn basic skills related to germplasm seed conservation by processing germplasm accessions into the active collection including seed cleaning and counting, packaging, and database documentation and entry
Learn basic germination techniques for a large variety of crops and become familiar with the Association of Official Seed Analysts (AOSA) standard protocols

Required

Bachelor's degree in one of the relevant fields (biology or plant science related discipline)
Degree must have been received within the past five years
U.S. Citizen Only

Preferred

Experience in seed harvesting, handling and processing and routine lab research related to agriculture is desired
