Responsibilities

Analyze and translate business and technical requirements into scalable software solutions using Agile methodologies
Develop, configure, and maintain high-quality code adhering to coding standards and security policies
Design and implement components with a focus on maintainability, availability, and scalability
Build automation scripts to support Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines
Create and execute test cases to ensure code quality and resolve defects through root cause analysis
Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply corrective and adaptive maintenance
Collaborate cross-functionally to align development efforts with business objectives and project milestones

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area
4 years' experience in software engineering or related area
Proven expertise in software design and development using Java and Spring Boot within Agile environments
Strong knowledge of coding standards, secure coding practices, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
Experience with application development, unit testing, and automation scripting for CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency in working with relational and NoSQL databases, web services, and telemetry implementation
Familiarity with DevOps tools including Azure DevOps, code management, and continuous integration/deployment
Ability to analyze requirements, create user stories, and maintain traceability matrices
Skilled in defect management, root cause analysis, and performance troubleshooting
Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-availability software solutions

Preferred

Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area
Background in creating inclusive digital experiences
Demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly
Knowledge of accessibility best practices
