Landscape Architect (Orlando)
CPH is a multi-disciplined Architectural and Engineering firm ranked among the nation’s top firms. They are seeking a full-time Landscape Architect to assist with various Public and Private Programs, involving project management, design, and client interaction.

Responsibilities
Fulfilling requirements as Landscape Architect for the design, permitting and construction administration of projects
Preparation of accurate presentation, design, details and construction documents in CAD to include jurisdictional code compliant landscape planting plans, planting designs, and hardscape design
Oversight of project design team including engineers, architects, designers, consultants and clients
Collaboration with other firm landscape architects, architects, disciplines, project managers, and business development teams
Research, interpretation and implementation of relevant codes and client requirements
Development, implementation and utilization of CAD standards and templates
Preparation of specifications, review of shop drawings, and construction administration support as Landscape Architect
Periodic travel to perform business development, project management, site investigations, measurements, and construction observation. Duty includes preparation or review of subsequent reports and exhibits
Oversight and assistance with compiling construction plans from all disciplines and submittal to agencies having jurisdiction
Oversight and mentoring project Landscape Architects, Designers and Technicians
Review of documents prepared by others and implementation of project quality control
Development, negotiation and management of project scope, proposals, planning, schedules, budgets and billing
Expert testimony and representation at public hearings and meetings
Management of clients and national account programs
Qualification
Required
Degree in Landscape Architecture and Florida Licensure (or commitment to obtain within 1 year of hire) is required
3+ years of US landscape design experience
Knowledge of Irrigation Design
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required
Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Thorough understanding of project process from concept through construction
Ability to consistently exercise good independent judgement in evaluation, selection, and adaptation/modification of materials, techniques, procedures and design solutions
Effective in providing instruction, teaching and mentoring in a positive and constructive manner
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
Superior social, communication, written and organizational skills
Ability to effectively multi-task and work on multiple projects while adhering to project schedules and budgets
Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate project deadlines
Detail oriented, quality conscious, reliable and self-motivated
Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred
Experience in Public Park, FDOT/LAP and National Commercial Programs is a plus
Ability to prepare hand sketches and perspectives is a plus
Photoshop, Sketchup and rendering software experience is a plus
