Responsibilities

Design & Execute Growth Strategy: Build and lead a sales strategy that takes Ringside from where we are today to $100M+, balancing new client acquisition, key account expansion, and a focused market penetration
Define and Drive Go-to-Market Clarity: Establish segmentation, ideal customer AND requirement profiles and territory focus—starting with our core market in Ohio—to maximize the sales effort, gross margin and the probability of winning
Build a Scalable Sales Engine: Architect the processes, tools, and standards that make success repeatable—driving accountability around qualification, forecasting, and pipeline discipline. Elevate from a culture of “activity management”, to a culture that emphasizes “desired outcomes and high-value activity”
Lead, Coach, and Develop a High-Performing Team: Hire for potential and coachability over experience. Foster a culture where accountability, curiosity, creativity, and development are celebrated
Evolve Sales Messaging and the Value Story: Enable our team to articulate clear differentiators and proof points that go beyond “speed and quality of delivery” to demonstrate true business and bottom-line impact
Drive Operational Rigor: Use data-driven insights to assess pipeline health, forecast results, and to inform sales behaviors. Align incentives with strategic outcomes
Champion Change and Transformation: Lead the organization through evolution—establishing buy-in, setting direction, and creating alignment across leadership and sales teams

Required

Displayed ability to, and historical evidence of, transforming sales organizations through structured change—not just running a system that already exists
A strategic thinker who can diagnose current state, design future state, and execute with discipline
Data literacy and business acumen, including revenue math, margin optimization, and P&L basics
History of building alignment, accountability, and adoption across teams
Strong command of sales process design, qualification rigor, and pipeline management
Experience aligning compensation, metrics, and activity to outcomes and strategic goals
Comfort leading through ambiguity and resistance; ability to balance empathy with performance expectations
A belief in hiring for acumen and attitude—coachable, ambitious people capable of growth
