Responsibilities
Review crop insurance applications and policy documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal and private program guidelines
Apply provisions of the Standard Reinsurance Agreement (SRA) and supplemental guidance to daily policy administration duties
Maintain organized and complete documentation trails for all underwriting actions and communications
Support internal control procedures by adhering to established underwriting protocols and flagging potential discrepancies
Assist in policy review and error tracking efforts in coordination with compliance and quality assurance teams
Participate in training sessions to stay current on crop insurance regulations, underwriting procedures, and system updates
Communicate effectively with agents, policyholders, and internal departments to resolve underwriting issues and ensure smooth policy administration
Contribute to cross-functional collaboration with claims, compliance, and accounting teams to support coordinated insurance operations
Other underwriting duties and projects as assigned
Qualification
