The firm is seeking a Senior Billing Specialist to join its team and serve as a key partner to attorneys and firm leadership, overseeing day-to-day billing operations and ensuring accurate and compliant invoices.

Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end billing process for multiple attorneys, including the preparation, review, and finalization of client invoices with accuracy and efficiency
Review billable time entries and expense submissions to ensure alignment with client agreements, billing guidelines, and firm policies
Maintain and update the firm’s billing database, including client records, billing rates, and special arrangements
Track and monitor unbilled time, aged receivables, and outstanding invoices, ensuring timely follow-up and collections support
Prepare and deliver detailed client account statements and monthly financial summaries for attorney and client review
Collaborate directly with attorneys and clients to address and resolve billing inquiries, discrepancies, and adjustments
Create and distribute customized billing and financial reports, providing insights into billing trends and outstanding balances
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 4+ years of billing experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment
Proficiency with billing software such as Aderant, Elite, or similar platforms
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with attorneys, clients, and firm leadership
Preferred
Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
