The Import Generalist is responsible for providing support across multiple functions within the Customs team, focusing on the timely and accurate submission of ISF filings and assisting in various customs areas as needed.

Responsibilities

Ensure ISF filings are accurately processed in a timely manner

Review carrier booking reports for non-filings of ISF

Provide administrative coordination, communication, and document control for assigned project(s)

Ability to track and update Ocean Vessel status

Prepares import documentation for data entry

Maintain control over ISF records, including tracking and filing

Performs data entry of key milestones in shipment status

Support Customs Entry Writers as needed

Correspond with internal and external clients / customers / vendors via email

Filing and recordkeeping

Performs other duties as required
