Responsibilities

Prospect and qualify new customer leads, network, selling price points and commercial terms (within set framework)
Drive and negotiate broker sales and support Inbound team on inventory purchases
Directly sets Fair Market Value for End of Lease, Retail and Buybacks, within set parameters, together with providing clear regional market data and dynamics to the management
Ensure customer requests are met or exceeded
Responsible for addressing all customer requests for quality and competitiveness; provides pricing to win more channel business
Develops, evaluates, and manages channel relationships to accomplish material value recovery and minimize cost for proper disposition of non-valued commodity assets
Provides resolution management by partnering with buyers
Designs, develops and implements commodity resale and disposition plans, this includes managing the transition of new and existing commodity types to the strategic buyers and partners
Provides leadership and direction to cross functional relationships with buyers and downstream partners, as well as with internal stakeholders from Production, Quality, Logistics, and Finance departments
Develops solutions and reconfiguration of product, working with vendor capabilities to ensure achievement of desired profit margins
Monitors industry technology and trends. Keeps the business aware of necessary movement in the industry relevant to the production and sourcing/purchasing markets
Collaborates with team members to reach assigned sales target, achieving sales growth performance by expanding business volume with new logo generation and expansion of existing customers

Required

Extensive technical and market knowledge of Laptops, Desktops, Monitors and components
Prospect and qualify new customer leads, network, selling price points and commercial terms (within set framework)
Drive and negotiate broker sales and support Inbound team on inventory purchases

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and international shipping requirements
Monitors industry technology and trends. Keeps the business aware of necessary movement in the industry relevant to the production and sourcing/purchasing markets
Collaborates with team members to reach assigned sales target, achieving sales growth performance by expanding business volume with new logo generation and expansion of existing customers
Typically requires a minimum of 4-7 years of experience as managing moderately complex procurement contracts, vendor negotiations and the sourcing of goods and services within a similar industry setting
3-4 years of managing and reselling of commodities and assets into secondary markets
Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities to influence others, lead work teams and provide guidance to other staff
Skills and ability to effectively manage complex internal and external supplier relationships requiring diplomacy and negotiation skills and a depth of specialized Knowledge
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels throughout the organization and external vendors, including strong customer service orientation, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive for results
Good working knowledge of a wide variety PC computing and IT based technology, and ability to perform complex pricing and market-based pricing analysis
Must demonstrate advance excel analysis skills
Leads by example and takes active ownership and accountability – stimulates learning and manages knowledge
