Responsibilities
Lead & Mentor: Train the maintenance team in fostering safety, accountability and team work
Collaborate & Solve: Oversee daily maintenance and repair of hotel systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety equipment
Drive Excellence: Spearhead the preventative maintenance program that ensures guest satisfaction and asset protection
Troubleshoot: Resolve system malfunctions while ensuring compliance with OSHA and local regulations
Partnerships: Work with vendors, contractors, and inspectors to ensure quality work and regulatory compliance
Manage: Take charge of the maintenance budget, capital projects, and vendor contracts
Roll Up Your Sleeves: Troubleshoot issues, resolve malfunctions, and jump in and work side by side with your team to get the job done right
Qualification
Required
Previous Hotel or related field experience preferred
A proven hands on leader who communicates clearly and builds trust with their team
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and life safety systems
3+ years of maintenance management or supervisory experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other standard computer programs
Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays
