Coda Search│Staffing is representing a large NYC based Alternative Asset Manager currently seeking to add a talented Fund Accountant for one of their Credit Funds based in NYC. The role involves reviewing and preparing fund financials, maintaining the books and records of the fund, preparing investment performance reports, and presenting findings to the Management Committee.

Responsibilities

Assist portfolio valuations efforts including portfolio optimization, risk analytics, performance attribution, and risk/liability management

Prepare/review accurate net asset values (NAVs), yields, distributions, and other fund accounting outputs for subsequent review

Calculation and review of LP/GP investor allocations including incentive fees, management fees, waterfall calculations, and IRRs. Capital Call/Distribution management

Conduct financial analysis on financial statements in order to isolate troubled assets and develop remediation protocols

Perform financial statement preparation, cash and position reconciliations, entering income/expense accruals, preparing capital allocation schedules, and sending investor correspondence regarding account balances

Collaborate with CFO/Controller on preparation of firm reporting and intra-company reconciliation process
