Nightwing is a company that provides advanced cyber, data operations, and intelligence mission support services. They are seeking a Logistics Intern to assist with property management tasks, support the implementation of logistics procedures, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Assist with property management tasking such as shipping, receiving, and tracking of government procured equipment

Support the implementation of lean principles and practices to improve workflow of logistics procedures

Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics processes and integration with engineering work

Use Power Bi, Excel, and other tools to create dashboards, develop metrics, track scores, and perform analytics on logistics procedures

Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

Identify gaps in processes and develop solutions to meet the business needs of the logistics team

Required

Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited degree program, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field

Previous coursework or experience in supply chain, warehouse/distribution, or related fields

Familiarity with logistics operations and procurement practices

Knowledge in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong attention-to-detail and organizational abilities

Experience with data collection and analysis
