Responsibilities
Model Development & Maintenance: Design, build, and maintain sophisticated financial planning, forecasting, and long-range planning models within Workday Adaptive Planning
Process Optimization: Find opportunities to improve and streamline existing financial planning processes through automation and improved model design within Adaptive Planning
Data Integration & Management: Ensure data integrity and accuracy within Adaptive Planning by developing and managing data integrations from various source systems
Reporting & Analysis: Develop and maintain dynamic reports, dashboards, and visualizations within Adaptive Planning to deliver actionable insights to finance and business leaders. Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as the need arises
Collaboration & Customer Management: Partner closely with finance business partners, department heads, and executive leadership to understand planning requirements, gather feedback, and ensure models meet evolving business needs
System Administration & Support: Provide ongoing support and administration for the Adaptive Planning environment
Training & Documentation: Develop and deliver training materials for end-users on Adaptive Planning models and processes. Maintain comprehensive documentation of model design, processes, and data flows
Best Practices & Innovation: Know the latest with Adaptive Planning standard processes, new features, and industry trends to continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our planning solutions
Qualification
Required
3+ years of direct hands-on modeling experience designing, developing, and deploying complex financial / sales planning and analysis models within Adaptive Planning or other EPM tools (e.g. Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion)
Solid understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and core accounting principles
Proven experience in diagnosing business user's needs and developing tailored planning solutions
Strong data management and data validation skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical customers
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Preferred
Workday Adaptive Planning Certification a plus
Workday Reporting Certification a plus
Workday Financials Certification a plus
