Senior Manager, Program Management (Systems/Platform)

Responsibilities
Lead high-complexity, high-risk programs and manage CAT 3 projects, ensuring deliverables meet contractual and business objectives while maintaining customer satisfaction and QDRC standards
Build, develop, and maintain a skilled team, including Program Managers and Project Coordinators. Champion continuous improvement and mentor junior program managers
Prioritize programs and resources, assess workload complexity, recommend allocations, and ensure teams are appropriately staffed to meet objectives
Establish and manage project/program governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Ensure full and appropriate use of processes such as Product Life Cycle (PLC), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Parts Transition Process
Act as the primary customer contact, resolve cross-functional issues, and present project status to executives and stakeholders
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while championing change initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during program execution
Manage budgets, financial forecasts, and resource allocations to ensure cost efficiency and maximize return on investment (ROI)
Drive process improvement initiatives (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) and align programs with long-term business goals
Work closely with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and other teams to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and supplier evaluations
Participate in new business development and product portfolio management to enhance competitiveness
Qualification
Required
bachelor's degree in arts/sciences (BA/BS)
Project management experience in a PLC environment or closely related field
Previous management experience
PgMP (Program Management Professional)
Greenbelt Certification
PMP (Project Management Professional)
U.S. Persons within the meaning of the ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce
