Howden is a global insurance broker that is launching its US retail platform and is seeking a Certificate Center Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing the issuance of client insurance documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance while supervising the work of Proof of Insurance Analysts.

Responsibilities

Oversee the review of COI requests to ensure requirements, delivery methods, and client expectations are accurately assessed and met
Provide direction and oversight on securing carrier endorsements to support accurate COI issuance
Ensure team adherence to compliance and service standards by monitoring the timely and accurate delivery of COIs
Monitor processing of Auto ID card requests based on fleet and/or vehicle-specific needs
Oversee issuance with carriers and ensure proper documentation is maintained
Oversee the issuance and delivery of renewal COIs and auto ID cards to clients
Supervise renewals to ensure deadlines are met and documentation is complete
Oversee the maintenance of accurate records of issued COIs and Auto ID cards, ensuring readiness for audit and compliance reviews
Ensure team adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies in all aspects of document issuance
Partner with account management teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues
Communicate with carriers as needed to secure endorsements and verify documentation
Provide mentorship, coaching and feedback to Proof of Insurance Analysts
Assign workloads, monitor productivity and ensure adherence to standards

Required

3-5 years of experience of insurance operations or document issuance experience, with 1-2+ years in a supervisory or team-lead capacity preferred
Strong understanding of insurance policy documentation, Certificates of Insurance, and Auto ID card requirements
Demonstrated ability to manage teams, drive process consistency, and uphold high service standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance systems (Epic, AMS360, or similar)
Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or related field; or equivalent work experience
