Responsibilities
This person will be working with other engineers, design assurance team, and PM staff
Hands on lab experience / test methods
Windchill experience - DCAs (design change analysis)
Scheduling Test Activities, focus point for technicians work direction and reports to manager
Scanning returned product to X-ray or CT scan
Possibility to collect sort analyze data
Functional testing
Test methods involving standard equipment procedures (Instron / MTS, Pressure Gauges, X-Ray Imaging, Photo and Data collection) or Nonstandard test method fixturing for either capital equipment or single use device performance testing
Develops products, materials, processes, or equipment for projects of moderate complexity
Works independently to plan and schedule own activities necessary to meet timelines
Designs and coordinates standard engineering tests and experiments
Designs, procures, and fabricates tooling and fixtures
Performs troubleshooting on new products/process problems as related to design, material, or process
Responsible for engineering documentation
Invents/ creates concepts and designs for new products/processes and submits idea disclosures
May train and/or provide work direction to technicians
Works cooperatively with process development, quality, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical, and marketing to ensure project success
Qualification
Required
Engineering or physics degree required
2+ years of experience
Hands on lab experience and test methods
MS Office, Operation of equipment & testers
Preferred
Tooling / Fixturing experience
