V-TEK, Inc. is a local manufacturer of precision packaging and automation solutions, currently expanding their Engineering Department. The Manufacturing Engineer will be involved in customer interactions, developing custom tooling and automation options, and troubleshooting automation systems to enhance machine performance.

Responsibilities

Support initial setup of new automated production jobs

Troubleshooting equipment and production issues on a variety of manual, semi-automatic, fully-automatic, and robotic machines

Complete application studies by running customer samples, collecting data, and generating reports to help configure machines and improve performance

Work with Customers, Engineers, Sales, and Operations to help design solutions and configurations for V-TEK and Royce equipment

Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)

Help define custom tooling and automation options to meet unique and varied customer needs and requirements

Support product and production launches for new machines or applications

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field

Strong demonstration of mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, mechanical diagrams, and schematics

Strong communication skills, both written (reports, instructions, e-mail communication with customers and vendors) and verbal (ability to present findings and solutions to customers, internal team, and management, participate in or run customer meetings and buy-offs, present arguments and rational for solutions or recommendations)

Willingness and ability to travel on occasion as needed – regionally, nationally, and internationally
