Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and manage financial control documentation and compliance (e.g., SOX/ICFR) for major business units
Serve as the primary contact for internal and external auditors
Coordinate information and testing activities
Identify control weaknesses, evaluate their severity, and work with management to design effective solutions and remediation plans
Represent Internal Controls in major company-wide projects and system implementations, ensuring new processes are built with proper controls
Develop and deliver control training programs. Lead and mentor a team focused on control documentation and processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
5+ years in audit, accounting, or financial analysis
Strong understanding of internal controls, ICFR, and GAAP
Proven project management, strong communication, and excellent problem-solving skills
Highly motivated, capable of working independently, and effective at working across all levels of a large organization
Preferred
Public Accounting or Internal Audit background is strongly preferred
