Responsibilities

Set up and operate inkjet equipment

Set up and operate mechanical tabbing equipment

Set up and operate envelope inserting equipment

Sort mail per USPS regulations to match postal paperwork for bulk mail entry

Operate machines that seal envelopes and apply postage

Monitor the operation of machines to ensure that mail is processed accurately and according to set standards and quality control procedures

Collation and assembly of non-machinable mailing packages

Review postal paperwork and internal job tickets to check specifications and follow instructions provided for production

Presort and tray mail per USPS specifications

Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on mail processing machines to ensure they operate smoothly

Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the processing of mail

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize projects and ensure the timely and accurate completion of mailing projects

Work with mailing department team to perform quality control checks

Ensure tasks are carried out in a timely manner
