Responsibilities
Lead technical strategy and execution across the full project lifecycle, serving as the engineering lead and project manager for complex EPC initiatives
Oversee multidisciplinary engineering deliverables and review/approve technical documents from subcontractors and internal teams
Ensure all engineering work meets company, client, and quality standards
Manage engineering resources, staffing, and overall project performance
Oversee subcontractor and supplier scope, pricing, scheduling, and invoice approvals
Mentor, train, and develop engineering staff
Support business development through client meetings and proposal input
Drive innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement in engineering processes
Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and integrity
Stay current with industry trends and integrate relevant innovations into project designs
Perform other duties as needed to support project and organizational success
Qualification
Required
Strong technical expertise across process, structural, civil, mechanical, piping, and electrical engineering disciplines
Deep knowledge of engineering and construction standards, industry codes, and regulations (ANSI, ASTM, ACI, AISC, IEEE, NEC, NESC)
Solid understanding of project design workflows and the full EPC lifecycle
Proficient in scheduling, contracts, risk mitigation, and multidisciplinary coordination
Experienced with project controls, estimating, and cost/quality management
Skilled at interpreting complex business issues and recommending effective, data-driven solutions
Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to implement engineering innovations
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal oversight
Exceptional communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
Strong team collaborator with the ability to lead or support cross-functional efforts
Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
