Responsibilities

Software development of real-time simulation applications and immersive environments
Working as part of a team of software engineers, experiment designers, transportation operational domain experts, and human factors engineers to help demonstrate and test concepts for sponsors in an iterative rapid-prototyping environment

Required

Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet U.S citizenship eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience with a related Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of related education and work experience
Experience with Full Stack Web Development
Experience with VR development, Modeling & Simulation (Unreal Engine, Isaac Sim)
Experience with C++/Java/Python and other modern software languages
Exposure to Linux-based software development
This position requires a minimum of 4 days a week on-site

Preferred

Experience with modern web-based development
Experience in or exposure to DevOps concepts
Experience with configuration management (e.g. Git)
Experience with or exposure to containerization and/or virtualization
Exposure to native/hybrid mobile development
Exposure to robotics and control systems (e.g. ROS 2)
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
