Responsibilities
Ensure that equipment and plant practices conform to corporate environmental policy and federal, state and local regulations in a cost-effective manner to reduce or eliminate environmental impacts
Coordinate and audit plant systems that ensure compliance with applicable air, water, wastewater, waste and chemical requirements
Provide guidance and support to plant personnel that perform the day-to-day performance of permit activities within their respective departments
Assist supervisor with the development strategies and plans for Tennessee Operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Experience in environmental engineering or related field
Knowledge of corporate environmental policy and federal, state, and local regulations
Ability to coordinate and audit plant systems for compliance
Experience with air, water, wastewater, waste, and chemical requirements
Ability to provide guidance and support to plant personnel
Experience with water and/or waste management programs
Ability to assist in the development of strategies and plans for operations
Willingness to work off-shifts as needed
